UPLIFT HOUSE LTD is the controller of personal information collected through the Uplift website, Uplift Mind, Uplift Social, the member platform and Uplift House. Company number 17250503. Registered office: 405 Kings Road, London, United Kingdom, SW10 0BB. Contact: hello@weareuplift.club.
Who this notice applies to
This notice applies to visitors, Profile participants, account holders, purchasers, House applicants and event participants. Uplift is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Uplift, we may collect:
- Identity and contact details, including your name, email address, account identifiers and support correspondence.
- Profile and lead information, including Uplift Profile responses, resulting scores, the recommended product or starting path, and campaign or referral information.
- Private member content that you choose to save, including programme responses, activation ratings, decisions, predictions, outcome reviews, scripts, boundaries, relationship names, relationship maps, social actions, event preparation and Playbook tools.
- Safety-related state generated by deterministic checks where wording suggests that a normal action flow should be paused. Uplift does not use this information to diagnose you.
- Purchase, contract, consent and entitlement records. Stripe handles payment-card information; Uplift does not store full card details.
- House registrations and event information, such as preferred location, application responses, accessibility requests and attendance records.
- Technical, security and product-usage information, such as pages viewed, feature events, browser/device information, approximate network information, timestamps and session identifiers.
How and why we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, create and maintain accounts, save progress, generate descriptive Profile and product recommendations, personalise Today, Mind and Social experiences, process purchases, maintain lifetime-access records, operate House demand mapping and events, answer support requests, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations and improve Uplift.
Our Article 6 lawful bases may include performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving Uplift, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.
Sensitive reflections and explicit consent
Some voluntary entries may reveal health, wellbeing, sexual-orientation, religious or other special-category information, even where Uplift did not ask for that category directly. Before saving sensitive personalised content, Uplift asks for a separate, affirmative statement of explicit consent for the specified purpose of providing your private tools, progress and recommendations.
You may withdraw that consent through Account and privacy. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Features that depend on saved sensitive content may stop working after withdrawal. You may export or delete saved content using the account controls.
Recommendations, patterns and automated processing
Uplift uses structured rules to calculate Profile results, recommend a starting product or path, surface descriptive patterns from your saved evidence and choose practical routes. These outputs are personal-development suggestions, not diagnoses or decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. You can ignore, edit, dismiss, retake or choose a different route.
Analytics and privacy boundaries
Optional browser, session and product analytics is disabled unless you accept it. With consent, Uplift uses PostHog and Google Analytics 4 for structural website and product measurement. Google Analytics 4 is loaded only on the production Uplift website after consent. Uplift configures the Google tag with Google Signals and ad-personalisation signals disabled.
Analytics events are designed to record structural activity such as a route starting or a tool being reviewed without sending workbook text, relationship names, scripts, predictions, outcome wording, health-related free text or voice recordings. Uplift does not currently save voice recordings.
Separately, Uplift may record a narrow set of essential transactional and operational events needed to verify payment, entitlement, refunds, recovery and service integrity. These events are not used for advertising or behavioural session profiling and are limited to structural transaction or system identifiers.
Service providers and sharing
We use providers including Vercel for hosting and delivery, Supabase for database, authentication and related infrastructure, Stripe for payments, PostHog for optional product analytics, and Google Analytics 4 for optional website analytics after consent. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or another organisation where required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or connected with a genuine corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information and do not give advertisers access to private member reflections.
International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where the law requires a transfer mechanism, we rely on applicable adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another recognised safeguard, together with provider security and contractual measures.
Retention
Account content is generally kept while your account remains active or until you delete it, subject to limited backup, security, dispute and legal-retention periods. Purchase, tax, consent and contract records may be retained for the period reasonably required by law and to establish or defend legal claims. House applications, support correspondence and analytics records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for their stated purposes and may also be subject to configured provider retention settings.
Security
Uplift uses access controls, authenticated member ownership, row-level database protections, environment separation and server-side validation intended to protect personal information. No internet service is completely secure, so use a unique password and do not enter information that is unnecessary for the action you are taking.
Your rights
Subject to the law and any applicable exceptions, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent and complain about how your information is used. Use Account and privacy for available export, consent and deletion controls, or email hello@weareuplift.club.
UK users may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You may also contact us first so we have an opportunity to address the concern.
Changes
We may update this notice as the product, providers or law changes. Material changes will be presented appropriately, and the date at the top identifies the current version.
