Business concepts should be learned, not treated like a secret everyone else already knows.
A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
I wanted the explanation I wish more people were given.
I'm Sylvester. I studied engineering at Oxford and have worked across investment banking, consulting and M&A advisory.
Some of the most useful business ideas are explained as though the reader already belongs in the room. Enterprise value. Working capital. Market sizing. A framework only helps when you understand why it works, and when it doesn't.
I've worked on analytical problems where understanding assumptions, connecting the numbers and communicating a decision clearly really mattered. Uplift is my attempt to make that thinking more accessible.
We start with the principle, work through a realistic example and give you a chance to apply it. Not jargon for its own sake, and not promises of a job or promotion.
