These terms apply when UPLIFT HOUSE LTD offers or organises an in-person event. The event listing, price, booking flow and confirmation form part of the contract.
Eligibility and bookings
Events are for adults aged 18 and over unless the listing expressly says otherwise. A booking is personal and may not be transferred or resold without permission. Eligibility, guest rules, what is included and any application or approval requirement will be stated before booking.
Prices, cancellations and changes
The event listing will state the price and event-specific cancellation terms. We may make reasonable changes to timing, venue, format, speakers, menu or activities where necessary. If Uplift cancels a paid event and does not provide an accepted replacement, the event fee paid to Uplift will be refunded. We are not responsible for separate travel, accommodation or other consequential costs unless the law requires otherwise.
Venues and third parties
Follow venue rules and lawful instructions from Uplift and venue staff. Uplift is independent of a venue, gym, restaurant or other third party unless an express partnership is stated. A ticket does not include third-party membership, products or access beyond the event description.
Conduct and removal
The community guidelines apply. We may refuse entry or remove a participant where reasonably necessary for safety, serious misconduct, intoxication, harassment, unlawful behaviour or material disruption. No refund is promised where removal results from the participant’s breach, subject to mandatory rights.
Accessibility, food and personal responsibility
Tell us about relevant accessibility requirements and serious allergies in reasonable time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the venue, but cannot guarantee that every venue or menu can accommodate every requirement. You remain responsible for deciding whether an activity, food or drink is suitable for you.
Photography and recording
We will state when Uplift plans photography or recording and provide a reasonable way to raise concerns or avoid promotional close-up images. Attendance alone is not treated as consent to use an identifiable close-up for marketing. Incidental crowd or venue photography will be handled proportionately.
Risk and liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, participants are responsible for personal belongings, travel decisions and conduct. Follow emergency and safety instructions at the venue.
