Uplift House and any member-to-member features are intended to support respectful, useful and voluntary connection. Participation does not create a right to admission, introductions, replies, friendship, event access or continued membership.
Expected conduct
- Respect consent, privacy, boundaries, personal space and a person’s right not to engage.
- Do not harass, discriminate, threaten, intimidate, pressure, stalk or repeatedly contact someone who has declined or stopped responding.
- Do not share another person’s identity, contact details, images, messages or private information without permission.
- Do not use Uplift for unsolicited selling, recruitment, fundraising, financial solicitation, political campaigning or romantic or sexual pressure.
- Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent professional status or use information obtained through Uplift for surveillance.
- Follow venue rules, lawful staff instructions and reasonable safety requirements.
Messages and scripts
Uplift scripts are optional drafts, not permission to contact someone. Adapt them to the relationship and context. Stop contact when asked, when consent is absent or when continuing would be intrusive or unsafe.
Privacy at events
Do not photograph, record or publish identifiable information about another participant without appropriate permission. What another member shares in confidence should not be repeated outside the setting without consent, except where disclosure is reasonably necessary to address an immediate safety or legal concern.
Reporting and enforcement
Report concerns to hello@weareuplift.club. We may investigate, preserve relevant records, restrict features, refuse admission, remove a participant or end access where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or serious or repeated breach. We cannot promise confidentiality where information must be shared to investigate or protect safety.
Immediate danger should be reported to the emergency services rather than relying on Uplift support.
